Bio
Ben Kelly spent six years as a U.S. Army intelligence officer, working around the world in a role that rewarded discipline, judgment, and reading a situation before acting. After active duty he earned his MBA and joined JPMorgan's private bank, managing money for high-net-worth families.
The lesson that stuck wasn't about markets. It was that almost every wealthy client he served owned businesses. So Ben started building, co-founding a fitness software startup with a fellow Army veteran, then buying small, profitable companies one after another, eight businesses in total, often with little cash out of pocket by using SBA loans and creative deal structures.
Realizing that no one teaches ordinary people how any of this actually works, he founded Acquisition Ace to hand over the playbook in plain English. Today it is one of the largest and most active business-acquisition communities anywhere, with 2,500+ members buying businesses together. Ben runs it from Bonita Springs, Florida, while continuing to build his own portfolio.
